About Dastaan
Based on the novel Bano by Razia Butt, Dastaan is a heart-wrenching story of a young woman's struggles during the 1947 partition of British India. It is a tale of love, loss, and the devastating impact of political turmoil on individual lives.
As the shadows of Partition loom larger, Bano (Sanam Baloch) and Hassan (Fawad Khan) navigate their deepening affection amidst growing anxieties, their future intertwined yet uncertain. Meanwhile, Saleem (Ahsan Khan) continues his fervent pursuit of Bano's sister, Suraiya (Saba Qamar), adding another layer of complex relationships to the already tense atmosphere. Family discussions turn somber as the reality of a divided subcontinent begins to sink in, threatening to tear lives and loves apart.
