DMCA & Copyright

Effective: March 2026

HumaraDrama respects the intellectual property rights of television networks, production houses, content creators, and all copyright holders. This page explains how our platform handles copyrighted content and how rights holders can request removal of any content that infringes their copyright.

How HumaraDrama Works

We do NOT host video content. HumaraDrama is a drama discovery and tracking platform. We do not upload, store, stream, or distribute any video files on our servers.

Official YouTube embeds only. All video content on HumaraDrama is embedded directly from official YouTube channels operated by the respective television networks (e.g., Hum TV, ARY Digital, Geo TV, Green Entertainment, Express TV).

Strict channel verification. Our system enforces that episodes are only sourced from the correct production house's official YouTube channel. Videos from unofficial or pirated sources are automatically rejected.

Metadata is factual. Drama titles, cast names, episode counts, air dates, and genre classifications are factual information about publicly broadcast television programmes and are not subject to copyright protection.

YouTube Embedding

HumaraDrama uses YouTube's official embed functionality, which is provided by YouTube/Google for the express purpose of allowing third-party websites to display YouTube-hosted content. When a video is embedded on HumaraDrama, it is streamed directly from YouTube's servers — no video data passes through or is stored on our infrastructure. YouTube's own Terms of Service permit embedding unless the uploader has explicitly disabled it.

If a television network or content owner wishes to prevent their videos from being embedded on third-party sites, they can disable embedding through their YouTube channel settings. HumaraDrama will automatically respect this setting — disabled videos will not appear on our platform.

Thumbnail Images

Drama thumbnail images displayed on HumaraDrama are sourced from YouTube's public thumbnail API. These images are generated and served by YouTube as part of their embed and API services. We do not modify, store, or redistribute these images outside of their intended use as video previews.

Our Response

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will promptly investigate and take appropriate action. This may include removing or disabling access to the material identified in the notice. We aim to respond to all valid DMCA requests within 48 hours.

Important Note

Since HumaraDrama embeds videos from YouTube rather than hosting them, copyright concerns about the video content itself should be directed to YouTube through their Copyright Complaint process . Removing a video from YouTube will automatically remove it from HumaraDrama as well.
