Zahid and Shah Jehan live in Mehmoodabad, a poor neighborhood in Karachi, with their three daughters—Nasreen, Yasmeen, and Afreen—and two sons, Nasir and Owais. Zahid, jobless and overly strict about religious rituals, alienates his children, pushing them toward rebellion. Shah Jehan favors Afreen, sparking jealousy among the sisters. Yasmeen works in a factory, while Afreen secretly sings at a club, leading to harsh punishment from her mother. Meanwhile, Nasir wants to marry Sajida, the sister of their neighbor Shabbir, and Owais elopes with a wealthy girl named Arsala. The family's struggles are compounded when Shabbir and his sisters are forced to live with them due to financial issues, bringing five girls of different natures under one roof.
