Adapted from Jhumpa Lahiri's "A Temporary Matter," this telefilm follows Shobah and Junaid, a married couple drifting apart in the wake of a shared tragedy. When planned nightly power outages force them into an hour of darkness for five consecutive evenings, they begin a game of exchanging secrets by candlelight. The temporary disruption of their routine strips away their emotional defenses, leading them to confront the unspoken grief and hidden truths that have eroded their marriage. As the lights go out each night, they must decide whether their confessions will finally heal their fractured bond or permanently sever it.
